If you have an insurance plan where we are not an in-network provider organization then we may still be able to provide service as an out-of-network provider. If on the remote chance we are not an in-network provider and you have no out-of-network benefits then we can still treat you on a cash paying patient.
However, we do take most plans so call and we will be happy to check your insurance plan for you. Please also note that we regularly add new plans so just because you do not see your plan on our website does not necessarily mean we do not take it.

We find that this affords flexibility to our patients and professionals alike. However, we are generally good about working out a schedule convenient to our patients.
Just like finding a doctor, we find that word of mouth works well. However, most patients find physical therapy services through their doctor because of referral requirements from their health insurance plans.
Generally, be guided by your common sense. Some things to ask about include whether they are licensed, credentialed, and formally educated in their specialty. Ask about their level of first hand experience.
If you feel uneasy about a therapist then ask for a different therapist or go somewhere else. You know your boundaries best and a professional therapist will respect those boundaries. Sometimes, the therapist may be very good but you simply may not have any chemistry and may wish to change. Just be clear about your wishes.

You must bring your insurance card on your initial visit along with proof of identification. A driver's license is perfect. If your insurance plan requires a referral then you should bring this along as well.
If you have paperwork related to any injury, illness, ...etc. relevant to your treatments then please bring those as well.
We believe there is tremendous value in seeing a therapist who is educated, experienced, and licensed in both professions.
Why? Because there are so many areas that western science does not totally address or understand. Take for instance, the National Institute of Health (NIH) along with the World Health Organization have recently recognized that Acupuncture is not weird science, voodoo, or some other sham but a therapy that empirically helps people. They published their position on their websites after pain staking studies and trials.
Acupuncture and other oriental therapies have been administered to millions of patients over thousands of years of real world care. Western science is recognizing this now but you can get the best of both worlds now.
The White Plains office is our newest office which we opened in 2008. However, this is our second practice after an 4 plus year partnership.
Prior to this we have worked for private practices/clinics and hospitals. We have also been associated with 50+ year private practice in Asia.
Our Chief therapist also brings over 100+ years of family tradition where she represents the 3rd generation in professional healthcare and oriental therapies/medicines.
